Bags up to 12 × 8 × 6 inches, diaper bags and medical bags may enter after search. Backpacks, boxes, laptop bags and briefcases are prohibited.

The lobbies generally open one hour before the event and seating-area doors may open only 30 minutes before it. Entry can include metal detection and a bag search.

The theater does not manage parking; public paid parking is available in VCU decks within two blocks, which open three hours before showtime and operate cashlessly.

Accessible entrances are on North Laurel Street and West Main Street; elevators serve all levels and accessible restrooms are in the main lobby. Assisted-listening devices are available with a photo ID deposit.

Cashless concessions sell popcorn, candy, snacks, soft drinks, beer, wine and mixed drinks on all levels except the fourth floor. Outside food and beverages are prohibited.
