What the app can use, and why

Calendar. With your permission, Concerto reads your calendar to find concerts you already have planned and offers to save them with one tap. It never writes to your calendar and never stores your events; the match happens on your phone.

Location. Used to show shows and venues near you. Concerto does not track or store your location history.

Reports. When you tap "Report wrong info," Concerto stores which fact you flagged and why, with no account required, so we can correct it.

Partner content. Venues that verify their own page and restaurants and hotels that partner with Concerto see aggregate counts only: how many times their card was shown, tapped, or had its Perk opened each month. No personal data is shared with any partner.

At Concerto, we are committed to protecting your privacy and providing a transparent explanation of how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. We built this app to enhance your real-world experiences, and we only collect data that helps us do exactly that.

1. Information We Collect

a. Personal Information & App Usage

• Account Details: Email address and profile information, if you sign up for premium updates or in-app features.
• Location Data: GPS and location data to provide tailored recommendations, Events Near Me, 1-Tap Rideshare routing, and localized venue intel.
• Preferences & Inputs: Concert choices, vibe preferences, and dining selections used to generate Plan My Night itineraries.
• Payment Information: Handled securely through Apple/third-party providers for Concerto+ subscriptions. We do not store your full credit card details.

b. Camera & Photo Access (Concerto+)

• To use the AI Bag Check feature, Concerto requires temporary access to your device’s camera or photo library. Images captured or uploaded are processed by our computer vision AI solely to estimate bag dimensions and structure against official venue policies.

c. Non-Personal Information

• Device type, operating system, and anonymous usage statistics.
• Search queries, setlist views, and app interactions used to improve functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly to power the Concerto experience:

• To personalize your experience based on your current concert location and selected events.
• To recommend hotels, restaurants, shops, and transport options anchored to your venue.
• To process AI Bag Check verdicts and generate tailored Plan My Night itineraries.
• To communicate important updates, new features, or exclusive drops, only if you opt in.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with trusted third-party services as strictly necessary for:

• AI Processing: Anonymized image data and itinerary prompts may be processed by secure third-party AI partners to generate Bag Check verdicts and Plan My Night itineraries.
• Payment Processing: Managed securely by the App Store.
• App Infrastructure: Analytics, crash reporting, and location-based mapping providers. All partners comply with strict data protection standards.

4. Your Controls & Choices

You have ultimate control over your data within the Concerto ecosystem:

• Location & Camera: You can revoke access at any time via your device’s system settings. Note that revoking these will disable features like AI Bag Check and localized City Guides.
• Communications: You can opt out of promotional emails or notifications at any time.
• Data Deletion: You may request to permanently delete your account and associated data by contacting us at support@concertocity.com.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

Concerto is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.

7. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as we introduce new features. If we make significant changes, we will notify users via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes implies acceptance of the updated policy.
