The Basement East

Backpacks are prohibited. The venue FAQ does not set out a size limit or clear-bag rule for other bags.

The venue checks photo identification when required by the event and lists age restrictions on each show. The concert listing supplies the specific door time.

Parking is available across Woodland Street at Fireman’s Credit Union from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m.; legal street spaces are on McFerrin Avenue and Ninth Street South. East Station parking is prohibited and subject to towing.

The Basement East FAQ and directions pages do not designate a rideshare pickup or drop-off point.

The venue says it is accessible and can provide a chair for medical needs when contacted before a show. Most shows are standing room with limited table seating sold separately.

Rotating food trucks are stationed outside Lowbar below the venue. Outside food and drink are prohibited, except the venue FAQ explicitly allows Chivanada.

The Basement East FAQ does not state a rule for leaving and re-entering a ticketed concert.

Tickets are available online or at the Basement East box office Tuesday–Thursday noon–4 p.m. The venue FAQ does not describe will-call pickup.
