Auditorium Theatre

Security inspects all bags. A personal item up to 17 × 13 × 8 inches is recommended; bags that cannot fit on your lap or under your seat must go to the $2 coat check.

Doors open one hour before event start. Security screening can include metal detectors and handheld wands; late seating is restricted for select concerts.

The theatre does not own parking; it recommends Loop Auto Parks at 524 South Wabash Avenue and also lists Grant Park South and Printers Square garages.

The theatre’s parking and FAQ pages do not identify a designated rideshare pickup or drop-off area.

Use the step-free ramp entrance just west of the main glass entrance near Ida B. Wells Drive and Wabash Avenue. Accessible seats are in the front orchestra; accessible restrooms and an elevator are available.

Accessible concession and merchandise counters operate in the main-floor lobby. Outside food and drinks are prohibited, and purchases at the theatre require a card.

The theatre’s published FAQ does not state a specific re-entry rule for guests who leave the building.

Collect will-call tickets at the box office window on the east side of the foyer as you enter. On performance days, the box office opens two hours before showtime.
