The Salt Shed

Small bags and purses no larger than 12 × 12 × 6 inches are allowed; larger bags and backpacks are prohibited. Security may inspect bags at entry.

The main gate and box office are near 1200 West Blackhawk Street. Security screens people and bags at entry; the show’s listing supplies its door time.

First-come, first-served street parking is available on Elston and Magnolia; nearby paid lots include one at 939 West North Avenue.

The designated Lyft pickup and drop-off zone is on Magnolia Avenue near the entrance; look for pink Lyft signs.

The venue is wheelchair accessible, and accessible grandstand seats are sold for indoor shows. Request an ASL interpreter at least three weeks ahead.

Food and beverages are sold at shows, with indoor and outdoor menus varying by performance. The venue is cashless and prohibits outside food and drinks.

The Salt Shed does not permit re-entry.

The box office near 1200 West Blackhawk Street opens at doors on show nights and Fridays 9:30 a.m.–2 p.m.; the venue FAQ does not specify a will-call collection process.
