Masonic Temple Theatre

Backpacks, large bags and large purses are prohibited; small purses and fanny packs may measure up to 12 × 12 × 6 inches.

The ticket’s door time is when guests can enter; shows usually begin 60–90 minutes later. The theater asks guests not to line up more than one hour before doors.

The Masonic has no venue parking or valet; use paid District Detroit lots or garages. Parking at city meters can be risky because the theater does not permit re-entry.

The venue FAQ gives no designated rideshare drop-off or pickup area.

The accessible entrance is the ramp at Second Avenue and Temple Street. The Temple Theatre has an elevated accessible platform and elevators; contact the box office in advance for help.

Most public shows offer light snacks such as popcorn and chips, and the venue has full-service bars. No outside food or drinks, including gum and candy, are allowed.

No re-entry is permitted once a ticket has been scanned.

The Masonic box office is open Tuesday–Friday from noon to 6 p.m. Guest-list and contest winners need photo ID matching the name given to the box office.
